Don Juan

Don Juan is an ambitious production that mixes historical periods into an explosive combination. For over four hundred years, Don Juan, one of the most notorious characters in theatre history, has appeared in Shakespeare, Mozart, Phantom of the Opera and countless other works.

Despite this historical journey, Don Juan has retained his own identity and defining traits as a hedonistic and unscrupulous womanizer. Don Juan is a man of the Enlightenment, a deliberate warrior on the front line against moralists and hypocrites. Four hundred years later, we must ask ourselves what we actually learned from the stories of Don Juan—and perhaps more importantly, what we should have learned.
