Don Juan - Immaturus's mainproduction autumn 26

Welcome to Studentteateret Immaturus’ main production for the autumn of 2026!
Don Juan is an ambitious production that mashes up historical periods into an explosive blend. For over four hundred years, Don Juan—one of the most notorious characters in theatrical history—has repeatedly surfaced in the works of Shakespeare, Mozart, The Phantom of the Opera, and countless other places.
Despite this long journey through history, Don Juan consistently manages to retain his core identity and defining traits: those of a hedonistic, unscrupulous womanizer. Don Juan embodies the spirit of the Enlightenment—a deliberate combatant standing on the front lines against moralists and hypocrites. Now, four hundred years later, we must ask ourselves: what did we actually learn from the stories of Don Juan—and, perhaps more importantly, what should we have learned?
