Don Juan

Don Juan is an ambitious production that blends historical periods. For over four hundred years, Don Juan, one of theatre history’s most notorious characters, has appeared in works by Shakespeare and Mozart, as well as in Phantom of the Opera and countless other places. Yet he retains his identity as a hedonistic, unscrupulous womanizer and as an Enlightenment thinker who takes the fight to moralists and hypocrites. The production asks what we have learned from the stories of Don Juan—and, perhaps more importantly, what we should have learned. Directors: Ivar Aakre Moberg and Sebastian Sjøvoll. Production manager: Sofia Borne. Translation: Hanne Hermann. The performance starts at 19:00. Doors open 15–20 minutes beforehand. ID may be requested at the entrance. Anyone under 18 must attend with a guardian.
