About us

The Studentersamfunnet is one of the country's largest student-run cultural centres, and a central player in the city's cultural life. We offer a broad portfolio of events - from concerts and performing arts to debates, courses and social meeting places - and facilitate both professional productions and student initiatives.

The house is run by an extensive volunteer apparatus with expertise in technology, organisation, operation, security and service. Through this work, students gain valuable experience, responsibility and practical insight into cultural production and organizational work.

Our goal is to be an inclusive arena for learning, culture and community, and a safe partner for actors who want to create good experiences in Bergen.
