THE APE represents the base human instincts. Thoughtless imitation, reactive hate, the pull towards apathy and conformity. And yet: potential, growth, evolution. Revolution.

The journey from wriggling in the mud, crawling, standing, walking. THE APE is ideological warfare against fascism, totalitarianism, apathy and conformity. The project makes us responsible for ourselves, and those around us. THE APE mixes driving hardcore, dark post-punk and electronic elements with a more classic, grandiose rock. The band has very few limits within their musical expression, but the sound might remind you of bands like The Armed, IDLES, Honningbarn, Birds in Row, MSPAINT and others.
