Relatively new Oslo-quartet scoreboard plays a noisy, fuzz-poppy and atmospheric rock with fat, Swervedriveish, soulpiercing guitars, drowned out vocals and laidback drums, and are inspired by the American DIY-scene. In style they might remind you of bands like DIIV, The Megaphonic Thrift and They Are Gutting a Body of Water.

scoreboard played their first gig in April 2024 when they opened for their heroes Misty Coast, and have since been spotted at stages like Landmark in Bergen, the festival Lyse Netter in Moss and Øya. Aside from a score of concerts at Oslo-venues like Rockefeller, Revolver & Goldie, the band has already toured England and Scotland.

In February 2025 their debut-singel “ropey rampage” arrived to critical acclaim from among others Jørgen Hegstad at national broadcaster NRK. In June “rush spells” arrived setting fire to the streaming platforms. Both singles have received praise in the media, and have been handpicked by Urørt at P3 and been picked up by radio stations in Norway, England and the US.

For Vill Vill Vest the band is bringing their debut record nearing completion as we speak, and a new round of gigs at home and abroad.
