Radioactive waste is one of the major challenges associated with nuclear power and energy production. Both nationally and internationally, continuous efforts are being made to develop innovative solutions for the future. But what actually happens to the waste here in Norway, including waste from our research reactors at Kjeller and Halden?
This event brings together leading experts to provide insight into current practices, how Norwegian nuclear waste is managed today, and the options available for future waste management. The aim of the presentations is to raise awareness and inform the public about radioactive waste management, both in Norway and globally.
Bergen Studentforening for Kjernekraft and Klimavenner for Kjernekraft invite you to an evening of knowledge, dialogue, and inspiration!
Programme
Doors open at 18:30 – Det Akademiske Kvarter
Programme starts at 19:00
