Although few people know the name Laurie Olin, millions of people have experienced his creations. For 50 years, the celebrated landscape architect has made nature a part of the everyday life of dwellers by way of parks and other public spaces. His vision stands in stark contrast to the maxim of “profit over people”, insisting rather that equity and human needs come first. Likeable, witty and irreverent, Olin is a true free thinker.

SITTING STILL is a playful and informative documentary which combines interviews, drawings and paintings to give us a fascinating glimpse into the mind of a visionary.
