"Where is Tassi?!" is an modernization of a Norse myth, and the contrast between the ancient subject matter, the modern setting, and the perspective from which we view it creates humorous situations. With its many complications and playful jabs, the play is aimed at those who have never heard these names before, while those familiar with Norse mythology can enjoy the many little Easter eggs hidden throughout the performance!
We are both looking for actors and people for the production team! So if you want to work behind the scenes with PR, Sound and light, costumes, scenography or be a leader for the production! Come to the audition! There will be general information for everyone at the start, then everyone that want to be in the production instead of an actor goes to another meeting.
Character descriptions:
Loke: Has a strained relationship with rules, norms, personal boundaries, and basic social etiquette.
Balder: Some nepobabies surf through life on charm and family money, and Balder does it with style!
Brage: Dreams of becoming a world-famous artist/DJ and living the rock 'n' roll lifestyle.
Thor: "The world is ruled by the strong, and working is for wimps!"
Njord: Peacemediation, yoga, surfing, outdoor activities, and mindfulness—Njord can handle most things, but inner peace is tricky to master in a shared student dorm.
Ida: "True beauty never fades" is her favorite compliment and personal mantra.
Skade: Even the winter queens with razor-sharp claws and cutting tongues are soft on the inside—a bit like polarbear mothers with her
